Canopies & Shelters

Children love to experience the outdoor environment and find the experience stimulating. Our range of all weather canopies, shelters and outdoor classrooms provide an area to teach and learn as well as providing welcome shelter from the UK’s ever changing weather. They also act as a meeting place for pupils, teachers and parents as well as creating free flow access allowing learning to move from indoors to outdoors.

We offer a bespoke canopy range should your requirements exceed our pre designed options, allowing for a canopy to blend into any available space. These outdoor canopies come in a variety of sizes up to a width of 5 metres and can be fitted with seating options, work stations, storage, decking and outdoor learning boards.

Our timber shelters are available with or without floors and are constructed from high grade quality timber sourced from managed forests. They can also incorporate access ramps, balustrading and storage options.

Our canopies and classrooms are built to the current building regulations where appropriate, structural timbers carrying roof structures are laminated 112 x 112 mm or 125 x 125mm European Redwood which has a guaranteed lifetime of 15 years.

Our all weather Fontwell canopies are manufactured with a structural steel framework and a high quality weatherproof tensile fabric. We are also able to provide “shade only” similar structures, which are also aesthetically pleasing.
