For Schools and Nurseries our “all weather” canopies and classrooms range provides the opportunity to promote fun and learning in the outdoor environment.   Trim Trail products promote fitness and are suitable for all ages both in Schools and Community Play Areas.

Timber Swings

The timber range utilises the 125 x 125 mm Safalog – a split resistant laminated timber treated after manufacture, using environmentally friendly wood protection making Safalog three times more durable than untreated wood.

The Safalog is composed of timber bonded together with waterproof polyurethane adhesives. As a result of the design, timber selection and manufacturing process Safalog can withstand widely variable climatic changes unlike machine turned round log timbers and therefore offers greater split and crack resistance.

Laminated Safalog uses heartwood, which is over 70% of the whole volume of the tree. The heartwood is highly durable which combined with ACQ (an arsenic and chrome free preservative) provides a timber product with a 15 year timber guarantee.

Safalog provides long life expectancy with very little maintenance and is highly suitable for those play areas required to be environmentally sensitive.

All our play products are manufactured to the recommendations of the British Safety Standard BS EN 1176 with surfacing as recommended by BS EN 1177.
