After Months of planning, consultation and fund raising, Hunton Parish Council chose Streetscape to design and install a new play area situated on the village green.
Before work could begin the Parish Council and volunteers from the village got together and cleared the overgrown area to create a fantastic space for the new play equipment to be installed to create a central focal point for both residents and visitors to enjoy.
After a week on site the new play area was ready for use, with an Open Day held to celebrate the completed project. Nearly 100 people attended the Open Day where children (and adults!) enjoyed the fantastic new equipment that included three Inclusive Play items as well as the Bosworth Multiplay and a custom designed Elephant Slide.
Robert Wyatt, Chairman to the Parish Council, said: “We found Streetscape to be professional, knowledgeable and at all times helpful. We like the fact that Streetscape is local to us. We value the ‘extra mile’ that Matthew put in to support the needs of this Parish Council (such as attending a village Open Day to provide information and answer questions about the project). The equipment was installed quickly and carefully. At this stage we are very pleased with the service that Streetscape have provided. We hope the equipment will provide many years of happiness for the children in our village.”
