Working alongside North Yorkshire Council, Streetscape were successful with the tender to extend an existing trim trail for Appleton Wiske Primary School.
Pupils at the school were asked to vote on the equipment they would like to see installed and, along with the trim trail extension, two larger climbing items were added – the Chopstix5 and the STIMBA Duo Climbers.
Over the course of a three week period the existing artificial grass area was extended to include a new horizontal ladder and stepping stones which added extra challenges testing balance, strength and coordination.
The area linked directly onto the school playground to allow for access in all weather.
