Streetscape along with 4 other play companies were approached by a national housing developer to provide a quotation for a large double multi use games area and a new play area at Jasmine park.
The development was in its advanced stage and quotations were required swiftly. After in-depth discussions with the client establishing what the best value package for both the client and the community would be, a quotation and images were submitted.
Streetscape were chosen as the play and sports provider by showing a greater understanding of the client’s needs and a very competitive bid. After several discussions and meetings with the local authority, work commenced on the site.
The programme was tight and a high level of co-ordination was required with the site manager as several trades were present on a day-to-day basis. Despite some challenging weather (to be expected in the UK) the site was brought in on budget and within the timescales agreed.
The end result is a fantastic open space provision for a wide range of ages and abilities that will provide endless hours of entertainment for those living within the area. This site is a great example of what can be achieved if all parties are willing to working together for the benefit of the community.
